Fortunately, at the beginning of 2014, butcher Tayler Davis went into business with his parents Jane and Scott, opening the Joint in Jeffries Passage, which stocks locally sourced meat, cooked food, prepared meats and local wines and cheeses. This butcher’s shop is already making a huge impact on Guildford’s shoppers and chefs, providing high-quality food for homes and restaurants across the area.

Simon at Hire5 was fantastic to deal with. We ordered all the suits for our wedding from Hire5 (8 suits in total). My husband really wanted a smart navy slim fit suit to wear and we searched high and low as most hire shops only offer a grey suit or the usual tails. We found the suit of his dreams at Hire5 and we were so impressed with the quality and fit. It looked made to measure rather than hired! We hired lovely waistcoats to match and even shoes. Our groomsmen were delighted with the suits and one even wants to buy it! Simon dealt with a few issues for us with a smile, and was fantastic at coming up with solutions- once when my dad wanted to try on a few suits in his size to compare the fit- Simon got them in no problem. The suits arrived in plenty of time before the wedding for the boys to try on and we found that the trousers did not fit our incredibly tall usher- again, Simon came to the rescue and arranged for specially adapted trousers to be flown in from Germany at no extra cost. He really went above and beyond. We were delighted with the service we received and the quality of the suits. I would 100% recommend Hire5!
