Located in the peaceful village of Ripley, near Guildford, Toby Cottage is one of the area’s favourite restaurants for fine dining. Serving outstanding local food in a 16th century cottage, Toby Cottage offers a varied menu of high quality food, all freshly prepared on the premises.
We took friends for a meal at the Toby Cottage last Friday and had a great evening. The food was wonderful and Tony and the staff were welcoming and professional. There are so few truly independent and unique restaurants these days but The Toby Cottage is one of them. Everything was cooked to perfection and the Creme Brulee was fantastic. The table next to us had a fabulous flambe cooked at the table - very theatrical and it smelt delicious - we will be back to try it ourselves soon!

Jeremy and Ricky did the catering for our Vines Mini event in Guildford and provided a Chicken & Chorizo Paella and it was AMAZING. Even the salad dressing to go with the salad was yummy. They also do the farmers market every month. Plus they assisted us with our Buy Local Day in town again they were brilliant. They turned up and didn't stop all day, such hard working guys. If you are having a party, an event or even need a catering company to cater for your wedding, these guys are great. Looking forward to a long working relationship with them. :0)
