A Recipe for Great Events


	Hi Just to pre-warn you - if you haven’t yet eaten much food today, this week’s newsletter contains tantalising mentions of foods within it that could make you feel extremely hungry, but please read on. A music event is coming to Haverhill Arts Centre this Saturday in order to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice! Five Local bands will be playing live at the Haverhill Arts Centre and all money raised will go to St Nicholas Hospice so you will be supporting a great charity. Tickets cost £5 (in advance) or £6 on the night and doors will open at 7:30pm and the event starts at 8pm until 12pm. Clare United Reformed Church Coffee Morning takes place this Saturday with stalls including, cakes, cards, bric-a-brac, books, a raffle and much more. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be served and entry is £1 to include refreshments and free refill too. Enjoy a Street Food Festival at Bury St Edmunds Market this Saturday 13th September. Food will include gourmet burgers, savoury pancakes, locally made ice cream and a selection of dishes from around the world. Apologies if we’ve made you feel hungry from reading this. A 6.5 mile walk through the Suffolk countryside around Haverhill is taking place this Sunday, passing through Sturmer & Kedington, led by a ranger who will point out wildlife and features of interest along the way. Meet at the East Town Park Visitor Centre and there’s the option of stopping for a pub lunch, or taking a picnic. A guided walk revealing the stories behind the names on WW1 graves in Haverhill Cemetery by members of Haverhill Family History Group is also taking place this Sunday. It’s FREE entry, but please contact the Box Office Haverhill Arts Centre to give them your names if you wish to attend.
