How has your week been so far? The weekend is almost upon us once again and alongside a Barn dance held at Mini Meadows Farm, in aid of Welford Pre-School, there’s so much to enjoy this weekend.

Cottesbach Hall, School House and Gardens Heritage Open Day with Cotesbach Educational Trust Archive displays and a World War I theme takes place this Friday. See a Blacksmith working on authentic World War I farrier's forge, get involved with craft activities and demonstrations, check out the arts and artisan enterprises in the Stable Yard and much more.

Palmers Garden Centre in Enderby is holding a Charity Dinner Dance to raise funds for local hospice, LOROS. The event is on (tomorrow) Friday 12th September and starts with a drinks reception at 7pm, followed by a delicious three course meal, and musical entertainment by the fabulous Rachel Ball.

It’s Lubenham's 14th Scarecrow Weekend this Saturday and Sunday with dozens of scarecrows on display around the village, so why not go along and vote for your favourite? There’s also going to be tractor drawn trailer rides around the village, fairground rides, quad bikes, an amazing maze, bouncy castle, traditional games, stalls galore, a raffle, tombola and so much more for everyone to enjoy.

League of Friends for the Lutterworth Felding Palmer Hospital are holding a Coffee and Cake Morning in the Town Hall this Saturday from 9.30am until 12 noon. The Mayor of Lutterworth will be drawing the raffle at 11:30am and everyone will be made very welcome.

Ullesthorpe craft and produce show is open to all this Saturday. There’s something for everyone and it’s free to enter the competition. Schedule are available now from Ullesthorpe Stores.

Purple Duck Promotions and Lutterworth Museum presents Cabaret Showtime at the Wycliffe Rooms, Lutterworth. Doors open at 7pm for a fabulous evening of music this Saturday 13th September.
