Join a Huggable, Lovable Young Brown Bear


	An exciting annual highlight in the Haverhill calendar; free tribute nights in the Market Square and Great Big Tribute Night 2 takes place this Saturday 16th August from 8pm. Get there early as the square is often packed! The Ketton Players present Dick Barton Special Agent at Kedington Community Centre this Friday 15th and Saturday 16th August. Based on the 1940s BBC radio serial, this critically acclaimed and hugely successful play is a mixture of homage and camp spoof and it starts at 7.30pm on both nights. There are two weekends of beginners golf for FREE at Haverhill Golf Club that are taking place this Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th and then on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August. The day will run from 10am until 4pm and equipment and golf tuition is supplied free of charge. Lunch will be available in the Clubhouse (snacks from £3). Please note a £10 refundable deposit is required to book your place, this will be returned on arrival at the club. Learn to fish at Newt Pond, Castle Playing Fields, Haverhill next Wednesday 20th August, as part of National Fishing Month, and to coincide with the Parkway Funday. The park rangers at Castle Playing Fields, Haverhill are giving you a chance to practise your angling skills and get tips and advice from the experts. Enjoy free activities including a bungee trampoline, climbing tower, trampolines, Spider Mountain, juggling, circus workshop and face painting, plus Abbeycroft Sports Equipment and more at the Castle Fields Fun Day next Wednesday 20th August from 11am until 3pm. Join a Huggable, Lovable Young Brown Bear (Hugless Douglas) at Haverhill Arts Centre on Thursday 21st August. See Douglas in this happy new show, based on David Melling’s book.
