	Hi We hope you had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend. There’s been so much to see and do during the summer and we’ve had a fantastic time and hope you have too. Now that the summer Holiday is over, we’re looking at a couple of future events this week as The Victory Show is approaching very quickly and there’s also a celebration of the Harvest Festival with a difference. The Victory Show (now in its ninth year) has gone from strength to strength. The largest WWII re-enactment of its kind in the UK is now a three day event running from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September and is one not to be missed! Held over a one hundred acre site the event provides historical societies and re-enactments through various forces from several era's and theatres during the period of 1939-45. From Airmen to Infantry, the Victory Show 2014 opens a window in time to the fabulous 1940's. Looking for an alternative take on the harvest festival this year? Want to swap a hard church pew for a hay bale? Well, the Leicestershire committee of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.) will bring this year’s harvest even closer to home by holding their festival in a barn on 28th September.
