It's Rock on the Rec tomorrow!


	Hi August seems to be moving at quite a pace. Maybe it’s the fast changing weather conditions that make time feel like it's moving faster. One minute you look out of the window and the sun is shining, the next it’s grey and raining, but then the sun soon appears once again. The next Harborough Gut meeting is scheduled to take place tonight (Thursday 14th August) at Great Bowden Village Hall from 6:30pm to 8pm. The Harborough Gut is a new support group for individuals who suffer with digestive issues such as IBS, Crohns, diverticulitis and Celiac disease and this month’s meeting includes a talk by Kinesiologist Louise Bourne. The fabulous annual festival organised for young people by young people ‘Rock on the Rec’ is on tomorrow night (Friday 15th August) from 4pm until 9pm. This amazing event features bands, singers, musicians and other acts from across the Harborough district at the Symington's Recreation Ground in Market Harborough. Join Gilding's Ltd Auctioneers for coffee and homemade cakes this Saturday in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Their fundraising cafe is open every other Saturday morning between 9.30 and 11.45am, when there is a viewing session at the auction rooms. The auction rooms are at The Mill, just round the corner from Harborough railway station. Another FREE music composition and recording workshop is taking place next Monday 18th August from 7pm until 9pm, where all equipment is provided and no experience is necessary. The workshop is being held at The Methodist Church (main building), Northampton Road Market Harborough and is the ideal place to go if you are looking to learn how to play a musical instrument.
