There's lots happening in Hitchin over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Vaisakhi procession will head through the town on Saturday afternoon and it's a wonderfully colourful and vibrant event.
Our favourite landlady has a whole weekend of music planned at The Victoria Pub and don't forget you can 'eggsplore' the British Schools Museum on Saturday and Sunday.
Pop into Talents Hairdressers on Bancroft on Friday and Saturday and hunt for 10 bunnies and get yourself a free cut and blowdry to be taken within the next month! And the lovely Leonie from Aspire School of Dance opens the doors on her new permanent venue with especially sprung dance floor in Wilbury Way on Monday from 10-3. Meet and do business with other like-minded women at business support and networking specialist, the Women in Business Network (WIBN). There are 3 groups locally running in Hitchin, Stevenage and Letchworth/Baldock.
After two visits to the WIBN Hitchin I decided to join and I do not regret it. I have recently started a new business and it has been a great place to share my business but more then that it has been a great place to meet like minded woman, who support each other. Louise who runs the WIBN Hitchin group, is great at keeping the meetings focused, but also interesting and we have lots of fun. I would highly recommend that any women in business attend for a visit and see just how good it is to have an opportunity to talk and share ideas, In a friendly environment but that is also serious about business and helping your business grow and develop.
