I have recently moved home, and decided to make use of the free phone number displayed in a pub in the stratford area. What a surprise! I was greated by a pleasant telephonist who was willing to take the time to explain where I would be collected from and precisely how long I should expect to wait. beleive it or not the 5 to 10 minutes quoted was actually 7 minutes. Along came a clean, well maintained, modern 7 seat vehicle, with a polite and co-operative driver. During the 5 minute local journey which cost me £4.00, I was able to conclude that I had finally found a professional taxi company, that would stick to pick up times and charge an affordable price. Goldline are now programmed into my mobile phone, and I would whole heartedly recommend this service to anyone looking for a minicab/taxi for any occasion.
