Hexham

Saturday 12th July

12.30 to 6pm

Live Bands and a great Programme of Skateboarding, BMX and Circus Entertainment

A fantastic day aimed at 8 to 25 year olds now in its 6th year and which started when the young people using the skate park in Hexham requested their own festival.

Selefest 2008 includes a great programme of live bands as well as.....

  • Hang Trapeze Act
  • Circus skills and stilt workshops
  • Terpsichore Dance
  • Graffiti display wall
  • Climbing wall

Also....Team Extreme professional riders performing on the skate park.  A great way for everyone to enjoy watching or taking part in skateboarding, bmx and inline sports.

The Selefest has grown in size each year and is now recognised as a great and safe way for teenagers and younger children to enjoy a day out that is aimed at them.  With no alcohol allowed and the event taking part during the day, this event has always enjoyed a lovely atmosphere.  Even when it has rained!!

Selefest is an alcohol free zone and children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and stories in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

How do I start using feeds?

In general, the first thing you need is something called a feed reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. IE 7.0 has a good feed reader built in, otherwise try Feedreader.
