I have now been a member of BNI for 5 years and cannot think of any other way to get high quality referred business. The misconception within BNI is that you are looking to get business from who people KNOW in the room and not from them alone (although you may do business with them) - on average each individual is said to have 800 contacts consisting of friends, family, business contacts, suppliers and other business owners which means that every week you are pitching your business to the 20 people in the room but the 16,000 people they know BEYOND the room. As a new business and my first time at public speaking, trying to sell myself rather than a product, I was a little scared! Laura was there and approached me to come along to her small group for just 2hrs and she promised it would help. It has made a huge difference to me in so many ways, I now have my first 2 clients and several others in consultation. My girlfriend and I booked a long weekend over Easter and have come back utterly refreshed. I was lucky enough to stay in the Fleur-De-Lys suite and the Hayloft, and can easily say that it is the best accommodation I have ever had the pleasure to reside in. I honestly cannot fault any particular aspect of the Greystones Guest House, and cannot wait to go back. The breakfasts are by far the best I have ever had in ANY B & B, they really are huge! The cleanliness of the rooms is immaculate... the owners are meticulous about this. What made our retreat first class though were the owners who run the B & B – brilliant, brilliant people. What impressed me most is how they balanced a 400 year old farmhouse with modern applications – the décor is spot on. The Hayloft comprises of a four poster bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvet, a heart-shaped bathtub which can easily hold two (!), and under floor heating. There really is no need to venture outside if youʼre based here! If youʼre looking for a place to get away from the daily rat race, this is the spot; I guarantee you will not be disappointed. There is enough to do if you wish to venture out – Lincoln & Newark are twenty minutes drive away, and the legendary Sherwood Forest is less than an hour away. The local villages of Winthorpe, Besthorpe and Swinderby are delightful picture-postcard villages, and the pubs are pretty good, too! For eating out, The Lord Nelson (Winthorpe), Kingʼs Head (Collingham) and the Grey Horse are highly recommended. If you wish for a sublime curry, the Mint Leaf is 5 minutes drive away. This accommodation has not got a Silver Service award for nothing; you will also find yourselves quite enamoured with your hosts at the Greystones. Iʼve travelled all over the world, stopped in hostels all the way up to 5 Star hotels, seen the best and experienced the worst... Greystones more or less tops the lot. The rooms are ridiculously cheap, and I guarantee that you will leave the place very impressed indeed. Book up now!

After finding this wonderful place on The Best of Grantham Site, and another wet and windy January day, my husband and I decided to take our lively 2 yr old for a visit. I just had to let you know how impressed we all were with the facilities on offer, lots of room to run around, very well thought out, and at 11.30 there was even singing and dancing on offer with musical instruments and props! The slides are fantastic, and the staff very friendly. Not sure who had the most fun my daughter or me and hubby! Will definately be returning and have already told the mums at toddler group all about it!

I have stayed at Greystones on six different occasions and have never stayed anywhere better. Sheena & Ian always give guests a warm, friendly welcome. The property itself is charming and spotlessly clean, rooms spacious, tastefully decorated and full of character with extra special touches.. The breakfasts are second to none, anything you want and cooked to perfection. Snacks & evening meals available. Always wish the stays could be longer. Nothing is too much trouble, you will want to return again & again. Highly recommended

I have been going to this salon for the last three years,over which time I have always been very happy with the styles and colouring done for me by carla. I also have my eyelashes tinted on a regular basis by nicola of which I am also happy with.
