The James Finegan Hall, Fabian Road, Middlesbrough,

Ceroc-Middlesbrough

Session 7.30pm 'til 10.45pm but

Doors open at 7.15pm for an extra half hour of freestyle!

At The James Finegan Hall, Fabian Road, Middlesbrough,

Ceroc (pronounced "sir-roc") is the largest and fastest growing modern jive organisation in the UK.

Modern Jive is a fusion of Jive and Salsa and can be danced to Jive, Top 20, blues, swing, rock & roll and nightclub music

The idea is that you can learn a partner dance that you can dance at parties and nightclubs.

Having a partner is not necessary, as we swap everyone around during classes.

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.

Beginners classes are run every week. A new routine is taught in each class each night. You can do any beginners class each week - or more than one if you want to learn quickly. No harm is done if you miss a week

Depending on the personality, it takes about 6 weeks for the ladies to start to feel confident in freestyle, the men usually take a little longer.

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and stories in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

How do I start using feeds?

In general, the first thing you need is something called a feed reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. IE 7.0 has a good feed reader built in, otherwise try Feedreader.
