Country Cleaners Dry Cleaning & Alterations

I did a 1 hour course at twin lakes falconry. The staff were friendly. They had a good knowledge of the birds and I would recomend this if you just want to do this once of if you want to do this as a hobby.

Sue and Garry run an efficient and professional ironing service. I live in a village some miles from Melton Mowbray, and I value the fact that I can rely on their reliability in collecting my clothes one day, then returning them beautifully ironed and in clear polythene wrappers the next day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Thompson's Family Butchers

Thompsonʼs Family Butcher certainly ranks among the best butchers I have used anywhere (and that spans butchers in several countries). The service is friendly and knowledgeable, the meat and other products are of the highest quality, properly matured, prepared and cut, and Ivan and Diana can trace their meat back to the original source. They have a small range of complementary products and of course there are also recipes and advice. I can honestly say that the best rib of beef I have ever eaten came from Thompsonʼs. The verdict of my nephew, who was visiting from Hong Kong and who kept asking for more, sums it up best: "We donʼt get beef like this at home," he said, as he tried to convince his father to give him a sixth helping!

The Eating House Restaurant

What a fantastic place to eat!!! Melton has been waiting a very long time for this. Good local food, superb decor and helpful , friendly staff for which nothing is too much trouble. We came for a special family birthday and had a great meal and will be back for the delicious puds!!!!!!
