Bakewell Travel

I am a repeat customer of Bakewell Travel because their help and friendliness is terrific. The first trip was a 15th birthday treat to Disneyland, Paris where my daughter met at least 6 special characters at her birthday tea. She was ecstatic. Last year Bakewell Travel planned and organised our Honeymoon trip accross Canada. Everything went according to plan. All the hotels were superb and the excursions as asked for. What we didʼnt expect was to travel on the day of a terrorist alert which meant our luggage never caught up with us! However, that arrived in due course. We had a great time. Well done all at Bakewell Travel!

Peak Serenity

This is simply the most perfect place we have ever stayed. The place has been so well thought out with exceptional attention to detail. We were happy to close the door and not leave for over 24 hours, having everything needed to do so. Christine is a lovely lady and made the stay even more welcoming with a lovely basket upon arrival and a gorgeous bottle of champayne. I wouldnʼt hesitate in recommending this to anyone and everyone. A truly exceptional place!

Bakewell Breakfast Club

There are plenty of people who find networking at bit daunting, but theyʼd all be fine here. The Cavendish is a lovely setting that helps put you at your ease as you tuck into the coffee and croissants. Simon is a relaxed ʼhostʼ and has attracted an interesting and diverse group of local businesses to mingle with. Occasionally there are guest speakers, but there is no requirement to make a speech yourself.

Bakewell Breakfast Club

An excellent location for such an event. Simon leads an interesting group of businesses who get together regularly. Being new to the area, clubs such as this are critical in helping me set up my telecoms business. I look forward to regular and productive sessions, and would advise anyone from around the area to consider at least dropping in! One new lead and you would have already paid for some excellent coffee & pastries!

Harveys bar is a truly excellent place! Very clean and cool with a great atmosphere and layout! The owners steve and kate are lovely people who truly make you feel welcome! this venue is great for holding parties, gigs etc. or just going for a relaxing drink! I recently held a small gig there which was set up rather last minute (2 hours before being on) and everyone was happy and enthusiastic about it! a very nice place with very nice people!

The Secret @ Peak Serenity

ʼThe secretʼ should remain like its name sake, not to stop people from visiting but to take people away from the hustle & bustle of day to day life. I took my husband to the secret as a birthday weekend away from life and our children, i usally like to be pampered and stay a a luxuray hotel but the weekend at the secret was far better than I can have imagined and we are hoping to return again later this year.

Peak Serenity

We stayed at Peak Serenity on Feb 22/23 and had a great relaxing break with not a person in site with great accommodation in luxurious style. So if you need to get away and you have kids - leave the kids with the in-laws and get it booked now!!.
