Hello, my name is Mark Whelband, and I would love to introduce myself and my company to you: we are a Loughborough based, family-owned Double Glazing company and have been established for 16 years. We manufacture our windows, doors and conservatories on-site in our 4000sq ft manufacturing unit and are so confident of our quality that potential customers are warmly welcomed to visit the unit.

Having seen the quality of product and fixing at our friendsʼ we asked Mark to give us a quote for all our windows, patio door and porch. He came along and gave us very good advice. He identified areas where we were losing heat because of lack of proper insulation - which we had noticed but were unaware of the reason. We already had leaded lights (in dark wood frames) and didnʼt want to radically alter the look of the house. Markʼs advice was invaluable and he suggested a rosewood finish with leaded lights and we then chose to have white inside. Markʼs attention to detail in making sure that every window was spot on and pointed out details to us that we had not considered. The finished look of the house is superb and those people who have seen it have been most impressed, if not a little envious, and wished that they had known of Whelband windows! The whole process from first meeting Mark right through to the excellent fitting went without a hitch. The whole team have been a pleasure to work with - nothing was too much trouble, and everything done to the most exacting standards. Thank you all.

Over the last 40 years we have had windows from various manufacturers. Whelband Windows were recommended to us by two tradesmen who are involved in the regular maintenance of our property. Mark and his team have now supplied and fitted new windows to our bungalow. The quality of the product is first-class and the workmanship is second to none. We also had our conservatory re-roofed with the latest technology in glazing i.e. self-cleaning, UV resistant etc. etc. The fitting of the new windows resulted not only in warmer rooms but also eliminated the traffic noise from the A60 which is running alongside our property. We have recommended Whelband Windows to friends in Rutland who are having all their windows replaced at this very minute by Mark’s expert team. We have also recommended Mark to friends on the west coast of Scotland. They are looking at refurbishing all the windows of their family hotel once the tourist season is over. We thank Mark and his team for a great job well done and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Whelband Windows further.

Thanks to Mark and the team for a first class service from start to finish. Attention to detail from the first visit to completion has been excellent. We felt we were in the hands of a first class company. The fitters are a credit to the Whelband business and their skill and craftsmanship in making the fit and finish perfect both inside and out is a testament to their expertise. We really appreciated the attention given to matching as closely as possible our original stained and leaded glass windows - they left me speechless when they were installed, they look exceptionally good and so much like the originals.
