St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice is a local charitable organisation providing specialist,  palliative care to terminally ill patients and their families.

With Hospices in Yeovil and Taunton, St. Margaret's aim is to improve the quality of life for patients by controlling pain and other symptoms and to provide care, support and understanding to patients, families and carers. 

All care is free of charge and costs over £6 million to provide each year.  As a charitable organisation 80% of this sum is raised through the generous support and donations of the people of Somerset.

Charitable Partnerships

St. Margaret's is keen to develop mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses.  In return for helping us to raise the required funds your business will benefit from:

• An enhanced public image
• A sense of achievement amongst your staff
• Opportunities for team building through fundraising events
• Marketing opportunities through event, leaflet or programme sponsorship.

For example The Best of Yeovil will be helping St. Margaret's by advertising their fundraising events in the Events section on the site.  In return The Best of Yeovil will be mentioned in our Newsletter.

The Best of Yeovil will donate £10 for any local business that signs up with the site as a result of this relationship, either through the Newsletter or by referral.
