This year's Wrexham Festival of Food and Drink is to be a partnership between the borough council, Northern Marches Cymru, and Nightingale House Hospice, with all funds raised going directly to the Hospice.

With stalls showcasing local cuisine and cookery demonstrations from the area's best known Chefs including The Grosvenor Pulford's Leigh Myers, and Carden Park's Graham Tinsley, and plenty of opportunities to sample the delicious food and drink on offer, it really will be a wonderful way to spend the weekend.

Some of Wrexham's local exhibitors include Wrexham Lager, Orchard Pigs, French Flavour, Rosie's Triple D Cider, Aballu Chocolatier, Seren Foods, Just Tea and Coffee, Clear Black Wine, The Ultimate Fudge Company, Taste of Anglesey Ice Cream, Caws Cenarth Cheese, Rustic Chefs and Llangollen Brewery. A full-list of all stallholders can be found at www.wrexhamfoodfest.co.uk.

The event will be held at Llywn Isaf, just outside the town's Guildhall, on 12th and 13th of May, and looks set to bring in many visitors from the local area.   Parking will be available around Wrexham on both days, and the venue is a five-minute walk from the bus station. Further information can be found on the festival website, or by calling Laura Parry on 01978 314 292.

So come along and raise a glass to all that's best in food and drink in Wrexham. And raise a lot more for a really good cause while you're there.
