A Partner from local law firm, Hillyer McKeown, has been appointed as a Director of the North Wales Crusaders.
Duncan McAllister, has been named as a Director for the new North Wales Crusaders – the rugby league team that rose from the ashes of the failed super league team.
The North Wales Crusaders will be playing in the Championship 1 level (3rd tier) and are very much positioning themselves as a community team. The team will still be playing at the Racecourse Ground and it looks as though they already have the support of the local community behind them; with more season tickets sold for the forthcoming season than were sold when it was in the Super league.
Speaking about his appointment to the club, Duncan said:
“I’m delighted to be on board to be able to advise and help shape the future for the new club. As a firm Hillyer McKeowns support of the Crusaders has been unwavering. Through my work, I’ve always been heavily involved in the local community and it’s a great privilege for me to be able to combine my passion for the local area with my love of this great sport.”
