Computers on their way to the tip or recycling centre could be just the tool to transform a child’s life forever. Changing the world is not some ‘pie-in-the-sky’ dream after all. If fact, the very thing we need to make an impact on poverty, one of our world’s major current issues could be sitting in our car boot awaiting its final destination...the tip. Computers 4 Africa would like to urge the local community to come and bring their unwanted IT equipment. The donated IT equipment will be sent to schools, libraries and specific projects across Africa. Computers are a huge part of each of our lives, our children learn on them, we use them to work and now most personal communication is sent over the web. Yet not everyone has access to this resource which impacts everyday life. Computers 4 Africa has seen the hunger for IT education transform lives and communities; it is the charity’s passion to support the young people in Africa giving them a chance to make a good future for themselves and their families.
