Are you coming to join in the fun at Retford's Charter Day this Monday 7th May?
Each year Retford marks the granting of its Royal Charter in 1246 with an annual fair & this year is going to be a fantastic day for all the family.
There's lots going on including Scruff's Dog Show, falconry displays, Flypast over Retford by two Spitfires from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, clowns, fire eaters and so much more.
Here's just a little more information:
In Kings Park there will be a fun fair, motor show, vintage tractors, inflatables, stalls, trampolines, ice creams, hot dogs & Retford Times Road Show. Plus:

Shoppers are in luck as many shops will be opening, as well as a variety of Charity, Trade and Craft stalls throughout the town.
There will also be the opportunity to visit places of interest around Retford that you perhaps haven't seen before - Retford Fire Station, The Majestic Theatre, The Courthouse, Retford Museum, St. Swithun's Church, Grove Street Methodist Church and the Tourist Information Centre.
Canal Boat Trips on Seth Ellis. Departures from The Bay Tree Café from 10.00am to 4.00pm
Spectacular Spitfires flying over Retford. Spitfires from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are scheduled to fly over Retford at 1.45pm.
