The month of March means Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal.
Cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly. Every year more than 150,000 people die from cancer and at any one time a million people live with the disease.
Thank goodness for Marie Curie Cancer Care. They provide care to 25,000 cancer patients and their families every year - and don't ask a penny in return.
They need our help to raise funds to ensure their valuable care and research work continues.
The Great Daffodil appeal is our opportunity to get involved. Even just an hour of time is of help. Join the thousands of people involved in raising much-needed funds.
You could help with daffodil street collections where, in exchange for a donation, the public take home a bright daffodil pin badge. You might want to help with organised fundraising events.
Perhaps you don't have the time to get involved, but just by making a donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care you will have helped.
Please look out for local fundraisers or for more information visit the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal website at www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil/.
