I had Wrights cater for my wedding and they did a first class job. The quality of food and service was second to none, they made the whole day run smoothly! HIGHLY RECOMENDED!
Just a note to say how much I enjoy Wrightʼs pastries and pies, particularly their sausage rolls which remind me so much of those my mother used to bake! I pass though Carlton fairly frequently but always via Wrights, a detour worth making!
I have used Wrights for many years as the suppliers of pies and other foods for Church events. Their quality and reliability has been unfailingly exceptional. Whenever a ʼpie and pea supperʼ or similar catering is mentioned, the cry is always for ʼWrightʼs!ʼ People simply canʼt forget the wonderful flavour of their meat or fruit pies, and, though itʼs hard to make shortcrust pastry thatʼs melt-in-the-mouth and delicious both hot and cold, Wrights can do it. If youʼre thinking pies, go to Wrights, sample one, and you wonʼt ever want to buy elsewhere.

A lovely traditional shop where everything is home made. They do a great range of tasty sweet and savoury pies packed full of delicious filling & nice pastry; we especially like their Steak & Horseradish pie - & Annʼs home-made gravy is a must! You can also get nice cooked ham off the bone, beef, etc. If you like ʼproperʼ pies, then youʼll love Wrights.
