Have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. The vegetarian selections are particularly good. The staff are friendly and the service professional.

I have visited the White Lion in Worksop many times since Mark & Diana took over the business and renovated the pub and I have to say it's fantastic. The menu is varied and I have never had a bad meal. Staff are excellent, friendly, quick and efficient. It's a pleasure to visit. Alan C.

I went to The White Lion for lunch on Friday with my friend, and as soon as we stepped through the door we were made welcome. David took our order and was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Ceasar salad which was just fab. My friend had the vegetable rissotto. Excellent. Huge portions! Just sorry we didnt have room for the delicious sounding desserts. Maybe next time...I will certainly be returning. A great place to eat in Worksop. You have to try it.

I have been into the White Lion recently as they have employed a very highly qualified highly rated head chef, with his new menu it adds a very greatly needed touch of class into Worksop. Would recomend it every day of the week, will definately be a regular here in future.

We wanted a small friendly venue for an informal buffet to celebrate our wedding on 15th May. We found the White Lion online and also it had been recommended to us by friends and after visiting a couple of times for meals, decided to book. We can highly recommend this pub. Friendly, helpful staff, buffet was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the day.

We regularly visit The White Lion because we enjoy the excellent food, good ale and warm friendly atmosphere. We were confident to book a Sunday lunch party for thirty people. I booked the white lion for my wife's 50th birthday party, all I can say about our experience is FANTASTIC, The buffet was top class and very reasonably priced, and more than enough for my guests, Diane and Mark and all their staff were very friendly, warm and sincere, nothing was too much trouble considering my guests took over virtually the whole Pub, we were allowed access to decorate the room, and even offered any materials we may have been short of, and much much more. all I can add is more praise, if you are planing any type of function either a party or a business meeting the place to be is. We love the White Lion.
The building itself is full of character and the atmosphere is great.
The staff are friendly and helpful. we are usually looked after by David who makes sure we have everything we need - nothing is too much trouble.
The food is tasty,well cooked and well presented and is a lot better than the usual 'pub grub'.
There is also a good choice of wine available to compliment your meal.
You should certainly give it a try!!!!
