The Turbine's conference facilities in Worksop include a fully equipped conference room and numerous offices and meeting rooms, all ideal for board meetings, training sessions, sales presentations, exhibitions and interviews, providing professional and confidential areas to meet customers, suppliers, agents and colleagues.
The Conference Room
(approx 700 sq.ft./65 sq.m.)
A flexible space ideal for meetings for up to 60 people seated in a theatre-style, or up to 20 people boardroom style.
The Conference Room is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment incorporating touch screen controls for lighting and AV equipment, back projection onto purpose-built screen, built in computer with live internet, connection for laptops, built-in video and DVD player, and full audio system. A flip chart and overhead projector are also available. Use of this equipment is included in the hire charge of the Conference Room.
Hire costs: £200 per day (£120 per half day; £50 up to 2 hours). Costs include the use of the Foyer if required.
Meeting Rooms
(from 140 sq.ft./13 sq.m.)
Rooms of various sizes suitable for meetings from 2 people up to a maximum of 100 people.
The meeting rooms do not have built-in audio visual equipment, but flip charts, OHP, and data projectors can be provided. Use of this equipment is included in the hire charge of the rooms.
Hire costs: between £50 and £100 per day (£30 to £60 per half day) depending on size.
Note: VAT is payable on all room hire charges.
Catering
As part of the conference facilities at The Turbine, Worksop, catering and refreshments can be provided by our in-house Café. Delicious cold finger buffets and hot fork buffets can be served together with refreshments as required. Alternatively for smaller meetings, delegates are welcome to dine in the Café and purchase refreshments directly as required.
Car Parking
Within the conference facilities at The Turbine, Worksop, we provide generous, free, car parking at the rear and limited visitor parking on the frontage. CCTV security covers the car parks, the front and rear of the building as well as internally.
