Have just completed a 10 week cake dec course which resulted in me making an Easter basket cake, the first time ever I have baked a fruit cake and decorated it with flower hand made in icing. Looks great! Thanks goes to the tutor Sally Dobbs, another course starts after Easter, it's got my name on it
I was a Mature student at NNC and studied Art and Design. I had a fantastic year. Although I was much older than even the tutors let alone the rest of my peer group I found it easy to get along with everyone no matter what thier age. I found the course enabled me to explore areas of art and design that were new to me and to expand on the skills that I already had. The staff are very helpfull especially in the LRC. My tutors, Dave Davis, Andrew Cullen,Jackie Irwin, John Roberts were all great inspirations to me and without them I wouldn't be going to Lincoln University. A big thank you to you all. Maureen Pickering
Support for students here is excellent. The nursery is also fantastic and allows me to have peace of mind that I am so close to my son whilst studying.
When I left school I went to a college however did not like the college and left. I still wanted to further my education but was unsure what course to do. I looked around the college on an induction day and spoke to different people who helped me make my decision. I have enjoyed my course and my tutors always give me support and help when needed.
Everyoneâs really friendly and approachable lots of support available if you need it and its like one big family not like the larger colleges.
