The regular business support and networking events of the FSB Bassetlaw Branch are held usually in either Worksop or Retford.

I joined the FSB a couple of monthly ago because of all the benefits being a member provides at a very inexpensive outlay. They not only champion and lobby for small businesses but they also provide a wide range of benefits including free legal, tax and employment advice and information, free legal protection insurance, free jury service cover and many more benefits which are very useful to small business owners. The FSB in Bassetlaw is also becoming more active on the networking front which was also of appeal to me. I haven't used any of the business services yet, but I have attended our local branch meeting and enjoyed a joint social event with the Sheffield Branch of the FSB. FSB branch contacts and members are friendly and its useful to have the opportunity to discuss things with other members who run small businesses like myself.
I joined the FSB last year and I am now heading into my second year with them. As well as the benefits you get from being a member, such as the free business banking and online support which are my main uses, I've found the meetings to be very beneficial. I have already recommended them to others and I plan on remaining a member with them. I can definitely say that they have helped me and my business.
