REVIEW: Cinderella, Swan Theatre, Worcester

WORCESTER Live have come up with the seasonal goods once again with a song, dance and fun packed production.

The cast are all first rate and the young performers from Academy Dance totally charming.

Fiona McGregor's Cinderella has a sweet singing voice while Simon Bell is a suitably dashing Prince.

Ugly sisters Aggie (Jonathan Darby) and Kim (Graeme Brooks) provided loads of laughs, especially with their water shooting frocks, while Oliver Brooks as Dandini has a range of funny expressions and perfect comic timing.

Full marks also to Buttons (Ben Humphrey), the Fairy Godmother (Liz Grand) and long-suffering Baron Hardup (Rob Leatham) plus the three strong band.

At the heart of the show is director Chris Jaeger's witty script and the show never flags throughout its two hour length.

Cinderella runs at the Swan until Sunday, January 2.
