We live locally, and have eaten at Blakelands many times before. This is our favorite choice for a special occasion, the surroundings and staff make any occasion even more special. The food is quite simply excellent as is the service. Nothing is ever too much for the staff. They are very attentive and friendly and remember you when you return again, which is a nice touch. The meal and setting is never rushed..... You would be hard pushed to beat this restaurant. Quality food, quality surroundings, friendly and welcoming staff and a wonderful dining experience. A true "Fine dining" experience.

We have recently been for Sunday lunch and was very impressed with the high standard of service and food that we received. The staff were very friendly and I would not hesitate to recomend this venue to any of my own customers. It is a truly delightful family run hotel/restaurant.

The wedding I attended back in 2005 at this venue was super. Its nice to see such an involved website also. I can check back and see picture of the wedding that I attended in the gallery! I have also been to the lodge for dinner a number of times and had exceptional food and service each time.

Having attended several weddings at The Blakelands I can say that the setting, environment and service is fantastic. They go the extra mile to make the special day even more special.

I have also used their restaurant for birthdays and special occasions - The Blakelands is definitely the jewel in the Black Countryʼs crown!
