I'm an adult learner and have been having guitar lessons from James for a year and a half. He is such a patient teacher who is always understanding when we haven't have the time to practice. He is encouraging and positive and picks appropriate pieces for us to practice which are sufficently challenging but also fit our musical taste. I really look forward to my weekly lesson and continue to find learning the guitar a pleasure thanks to an excellent teacher. Thanks James!

Because they are the best of the best of the best and a lovely man runs it. The teachers are really cool and easy to understand brilliant mates to have. Funny and great personallities, clever and every time you go i assure you that you will feel at home-and if you dont own a guitar already you can hire oneu. The room that you play in ROCKS!!!

I am learning drums at MMA and I am working towards grade 1. I really enjoy my lessons I have with Matt because it is fun and I have learnt alot. Matt is a brilliant teacher, we really have a good time in my lesson and I think I am doing well.

I have been attending Midland music Academy for nearly two years. I have learnt so much here it has helped me to become a very good guitar player.The teachers here are excellent and make everything so simple to learn. Also all the teachers are very friendly and are amazing guitar players! I am having a fantastic time. I would recommend Midland Music Academy to anyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar.

I am an adult learner at the academy and can't rate them highly enough. Our guitar tutor James has utmost patience as we adults don't always manage to get enough practise and this is always met with understanding and encouragement. I have been having lessons for over 2 years now and always look forward to lessons knowing it will be a friendly and rewarding experience.

I've been attending MMA for a number of years, learning to play the keyboard. I look forward to attending my lesson each week. All members of staff are friendly and welcoming and the standard of teaching is very high. MMA has provided me with a number of opportunities outside of the classroom including the opportunity to play in concerts and to take a grade if I wish. MMA offers such a wide variety of things to learn and I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to learn anything musical. I have learnt a great deal at my time at MMA.

The School of Rock is the best musical teaching i have ever been to, i used to loose hope in ever learning the guitar but since i started to work with my guitar tutor,James for what seems to be about a year by now i feel like i can accomplish anything if i put my mind to it.

I've been with the MMA for several years now, learning the keyboard. I'm already preparing to take grade 6!

I have 1-on-1 lessons, so my teacher has been able to teach whatever I want to play. They also have all the newest instruments and gave a great discount for my own.

The best bit is when the whole school gets together to put on a big show at the end of the year. Everyone gets to play on-stage: anything from classical to techno and the whole evening is very fun.
