Having been a customer of Emslie Bird Accountants for over ten years, I have nothing but the highest praise for their efficiency and co-operation. One telephone call is all that is needed to solve any problem (and if they say they will ring back, they do)! We opened our 1st depot back in 2001 and appointed Emslie Bird (EB) as our accountants on a recommendation. It turned out to be a very good move indeed. EB have been with us since and grown with our company which now has 8 outlets and a turnover in excess of £3m. They produce monthly management accounts which are invaluable to us in terms of strategy, profitability and cash flow, and giving us much needed credibility with financial institutes which is so valuable in todays economic climate. In addition they also manage our payroll (for 60 staff) and handle all Y/E issues such as filing accounts online, Corporation Tax, personal tax issues etc. They are always professional (no matter how familiar you get with them) and in nine years, I cannot recall an instance where they have 'fouled up'. Everyone is a pleasure to deal with and nothing seems to come as too much effort for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending EB to anyone, whether they were starting up or looking to change from their existing accountant.
