David Medley reviewed ground conditions for our single story extension. He then designed the piles and ground beams. He was friendly and efficient and got the job done. Visiting the site, which is some distance from Woking, within only a few days so the project wasn't delayed.

We employed David Medley of Brox Consultancy to carry out an investigation of neighbour's trees which were too close to our cottage and were causing cracking. He listened carefully, took great care to understand precisely what was needed, carried out the root and soil investigations quickly and carefully, and wrote exactly the unambiguous report that was required for there finally to be action. The trees have now been removed. An excellent service. I would recommend David and Brox Consultancy very highly to anyone with these sorts of issues.

David Medley was recommeded to us by a friend. Initially he liaised with my builder and we got the structural calculations on time. At a later stage we had a query from the council that required his assistance again, and I was really pleased with the quickness on how he dealt with our request. Now we have all our paperwork in order and I highly recoomend his service.

We had just received our Mortgage survey report, as they seem to know best they only highlight a problem but make it to be a huge disaster! With that in mind my wife and I were considering pulling out of the deal. I thought I would give it one more go using David, I contacted him on a Wednesday, explained the situation I was in and he immediately took too action. By 11am the following day David had entered the house and put my worries to ease, not only was it a fantastic service but David understood all my concerns and made sure that he was totally aware of what we required. He found the problem, addressed it with the Agents and now all the work has been carried out and we are in the finally stages of owning our new home. If I have acted on the Mortgage survey and not contacted David at Brox I would not be buying this house today. We employed David Medley of Brox Consultancy to advise on structural supports for our side and loft extension. The project required 25 RSJs. David enabled the architect to produce a great design. He remained involved to see the process through the building regulations stage and then made site visits to ensure that the steel structure of the roof was satisfactory. David made himself available at short notice to answer queries. We were very impressed by his obvious depth of knowledge and experience, his helpful manner and strong work ethic. I would strongly recommend him without reservation.

Technological were employed to provide structural calculations and drawings for the renovation of our Victorian cottage. We had ambitious plans to make the entire ground floor open plan, and the architect had come up with a reasonable design involving several steels to support the upper floor. With Technologicalʼs input input, we came up with a hugely improved solution, something that would not have been achieved without Davidʼs expertise and attention to detail. David has made himself readily available to visit the site when required, and has also been available to advise or provide direction even in areas outside of his original remit. I bought a garden flat in Richmond in June of last year. There was some to-ing and fro-ing, some delay, due to a late problem with the one I was selling.

David was flexible, came and completed the survey finally, pointed out a bulge to the chimney breast that I was able to make the other flat owners aware of too.

In December 2005, whilst trying to re-mortgage, surveyors identified a possible subsidence issue with my property. My insurance company initally refused to cover the cost of repairs, saying there was no current movement in the property. I asked David Medley of Technological to take a look and he provided an excellent report and ongoing monitoring which the insurance company accepted and paid up in full ! Mr Medley is a true professional, I count myself very lucky to have had him on my case - he even diagnosed the cause of the movement, in contradiction of another report, and was proved right! I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

Mr David Medley of Technological Ltd was the surveyor employed by our buyer when we sold our property in St Johns, we found him to be polite, friendly, and very thorough in his work, we were impressed enough to employ him to do the survey on the property we were about to purchase. Thank goodness we did,because he pays so much attention to detail he identified a damp problem with the property,and urged us to employ a damp specialist, before purchase, which we did, who in turn confirmed what David Medley had picked up. We did not purchase the property, so we saved , money,time and effort due to his professionallism..We will be using his services again when we find the property we want to buy. After completing purchase of our new home, built in 1970, we discovered the floor level under bay window was lower than at rest of house and a fairly wide crack in a papered wall which our surveyor hadnʼt noted - quite a worry.
