Wirral really is brimming with things to see and do, whether you want to treat yourself to a day of well-earned retail therapy or get outdoors with the family.

Floral Pavilion Theatre - this is one of Wirral's oldest entertainment venues and recently underwent an extensive refurbishment, transforming it into a state of the art theatre and conference centre. The theatre has a packed programme of cultural and business events throughout the year, from pantomimes to product launches!

Birkenhead Park - this magnificent open space was the first publicly funded park in the world. It was designed in 1847 by Joseph Paxton as a "Park for the People", a reputation that is still has today. Birkenhead Park was declared a Grade 1 Historic Park in 1995 by English Heritage and recently completed an £11 million restoration. The park now features a stunning new visitor centre, events and education programme and of course, beautiful floral displays and trees.

Maritime Trail - Wirral is North West England's only peninsula, nestled between the River Dee and the River Mersey. The Wirral's unique coastline features a variety of beaches, cliffs, wetland habitats. The Maritime Trail is the perfect way to explore the peninsula and discover it's great natural beauty whilst learning about Wirral's past.

Mersey Ferries - these 50 minute cruises are the perfect way to see the spectacular view of the Liverpool waterfront. You'll also enjoy a fascinating commentary which details the history of the ferry and the Mersey. The River Explorer Cruise operates hourly from Pier Head (Liverpool), Seacombe and Woodside terminals. Kids and adults alike will also love the Spaceport attraction at the ferry terminal building, which takes visitors on an intergalactic and interactive journey through space!

New Brighton - a seaside resort tucked away in the north east corner of the Wirral, New Brighton is home to a wide range of attractions and facilities such as the Floral Pavilion Theatre, Riverside Bowling Alley, crazy golf at Victoria Gardens, Laser Quest and The Light Cinema. New Brighton is undergoing a £60 million redevelopment scheme, which will include a hotel, restaurant, cinema and casino.
