Free Cakes For Kids is a community service to families who find it difficult to provide a birthday cake for their child. Our volunteers bake homemade, individualised birthday cakes with the child's favourite theme or style. The service is completely free, friendly and confidential.
Free Cakes For Kids was set up on the Wirral in October 2013 by Group Co-ordinator Carly Hynes after reading the horrifying figures that 8000 people used Wirral's Food Bank. Carly said "We are an entirely voluntary project, and therefore rely completely on the hard work and contribution of our volunteers. We work with the community; for the community. Our main aim is to put a smile on the face of a child and give them a birthday to remember. Hopefully, you can help us achieve this.

1. Volunteer bakers to bake and deliver the cakes
2. people to donate cake ingredients and equipment
3. Organisations who can put us into contact with the families most in need."
