Following the expansion in the popularity in triathlon and open water swimming, the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead based Open Water Swimming Centre is looking forward to welcoming you to Bray Lake for many years to come
The venue is the home of Bray Lake Watersports which operates water based sports activities and is located just a couple of minutes from the M4, very easily accessible from Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. A short hop from London it is also ideal for swimmers who commute along the M4 corridor.
Safety is paramount for you to enjoy your experience at the lake. With full lifeguard cover, both on the water and land based for your piece of mind.
Swimming distances – accurately measured loops using GPS, swimmers are offered a range of distances including 1000 metre Distance loop, 750 metre sprint distance loop and shorter loops for beginners of 250 and 400 metres.
The lake water temperature is measured and updated daily on the Bray Lake Swimming website, so you can decide whether to bring your booties or not!
Bray Lake open water swimming operates in line with NOWCA approved lakes.
