Right on our doorstep! And yet how many of us have visited Windsor castle?

The oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Having just experienced this fantastic attraction for the first time and I have been a local for nearly 5 years I can firmly recommend you make the effort.  900 years of British history on display, amazing paintings that will take your breath away from Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto and Gainsborough, to the oppulant state apartments, there is much more to make you take a sharp intake of breath as you walk around.

So before you make that long journey to some far distant historical city or building, just remember what’s on your doorstep.
