So an extra day off due to the Royal wedding on Friday 29th of April 2011. How quickly we have just accepted this as a holiday and not given much thought as to why we have been given it. Do you remember the last Royal wedding, did you do anything for it or did we just get on with our lives? I remember day off school and going fishing mind you I was very young.
So whether you’re a Royalist or not we should not take this Friday for granted, we won’t have it next year! Make the most of it and plan to do something to celebrate if not the wedding at least the fact you have had an extra day in 2011.
