I was not sure if requiring a designer’s services was the right thing to do for us as I had a good idea as to what I wanted (colour schemes, main specifications) but still needed expert advice as to the feasibility of my ideas and (a lot of) finishing touches. I obtained the Bathroom Designer’s details by pure chance when visiting a bathroom specialist store and decided to give Jacqueline a call to explain my situation and see whether she could assist. Jacqueline not only seemed to fully understand my needs from our first conversation, she was also capable of suggesting great ideas to add the wow factor to my bathroom and she adapted her services to our needs. I am very grateful that she helped making our bathroom that bit unique and special to us.

When it came to the building Jacqueline offered the services of her contact, Kevin who I was very happy with. This service is not compulsory as you can choose your own builders but it seemed like the best option for peace of mind as Kevin and Jacqueline oversaw the whole project, which means I did not have to worry about anything. Kevin was extremely attentive to our requirements and finished the project in time, and as per his original quote, with no ‘bad’ surprises at the end! The final product is fantastic and we definitely have the bathroom we wanted.

I must emphasise how Jacqueline and Kevin’s friendly and relaxed manner made the whole experience very easy considering it was the first time we had had work done in our home and we all know how stressful this can be. Thank you very much!

As you know, they started work on the agreed day and they sometimes had to battle through on roads made difficult by heavy snowfall, but despite the weather, they never failed to arrive.

The work was carried out with the minimum of noise and disruption; with work of this nature, dirt and general mess is inevitable, but Kevin did his very best to reduce it as much as possible. The work overran the estimated time scale, but this was not Kevin’s fault as he was hampered by suppliers failing to supply on time and by clients who decided to load extra work on him after the job had started!

We are really delighted with the finished product and we are pleased to say that we have no hesitation in recommending both The Bathroom Designer and Kevin Blunden to anyone thinking of entering into a similar project.

I would like to say how pleased we are with the bathroom Jacqueline has designed for us. From the beginning she was quick to take on board our requirements and taste in producing a design, while incorporating elements, in particular as regards lighting, which we would never have thought of ourselves. She recommended a good plumber, and oversaw management of the project. This was a real advantage, especially since there were a number of problems, not only with delivery errors and breakages but also in giving practical effect to the design. Thank you for all the advice and support you have given us while our house has been refurbished. We now have three sparkling new bathrooms, all of which have been much admired, especially the middle one. Left to ourselves we would never have dared to have chosen red glass for the walls but it works really well and looks very unusual and modern without being "over the top". As two of the bathrooms were in confined spaces we were impressed by your ability to squeeze everything in. We would not have known where to start in terms of getting the designs right and sourcing equipment of the right quality and it was enormously helpful to be able to benefit from your efficient ordering and chasing up too make sure things arrived when they should. We were also grateful that you worked closely with Tom Power to make sure that the installation went well and everything looked as it should at the end. This firm, backed up by a skilful and trustworthy team of electrical and plumbing engineers, have recently converted an old fashioned bathroom in a London house, into a modern and tasteful shower and bath combination.
The shower, which is a frameless glass enclosure, including a power shower overhead, and a hand held supplementary unit on a flexible hose below.
The operational controls are simple, and temperature controlled.
A heated bathroom towel rail was also incorporated.

We needed a new bathroom but had been overwhelmed by all the choice available. The Bathroom Designer made it so easy by coming up with an appropriate design and helping with our choices. I had spent many, many hours before I enlisted the help of The Bathroom Designer wandering aimlessly around the various bathroom shops - I mean which toilet does one choose? Once the design and layout had been completed on paper it took me less than one hour to choose everything in the bathroom with the help of The Bathroom Designer. It is the most stress-free project I've ever been involved with. That was over a year ago and I am totally delighted with my bathroom every single day!
