The Simmons Creperie is a novel idea and supplies a delicious, varied and fun alternative to traditional catering by offering a unique opportunity to enjoy freshly made traditional Brittany galettes and crêpes for any occasion, anywhere.
We set up our service area in any venue and our trained chefs are ready to cook fresh orders live in seconds... right before your guests' eyes. From savoury to sweet, nibbles to desserts, pancakes take on a whole new dimension...

We can cater inside or outside, in your own venue or marquee or in our tent. We also deliver platters of minis, plain or filled crepes and galettes for any occasion and also provide a buffet service.
Truly traditional and homemade products
The Simmons Creperie prides itself on serving truly homemade products made from the best ingredients and according to traditional techniques. Our chef trained in Brittany and we guarantee the real thing.
Galettes (thin savoury pancakes)
We make traditional galettes with buckwheat flour and brushed with salted butter, giving them a unique, deliciously nutty taste and crispy texture. Your galette can be completed with a range of fillings, like ham, egg, cheese, organic sausage, fried garlic, mushrooms or goat's cheese and onion chutney, smoked salmon or roasted veggies creating a gorgeous main course.
Crêpes (thin sweet pancakes)
Fluffy in the middle, crispy on the borders, flavoured with a hint of vanilla or orange, our crêpes are the ideal base to all and every kind of toppings from lemon, sugar and butter to homemade toffee or chocolate sauce, banana, nuts, cream... the possibilities are endless.
Minis (bite size pancakes)
Ideal for stand up receptions, Minis are the gourmet canapé versions of crêpes and galettes. Filled or topped with imaginative concoctions such as salmon mousse, or chocolate ganache and delivered in assorted platters.
About the Simmons'
Some time ago Raphaëlle and Curt had 'normal lives' with 'normal jobs' in logistics and advertising. Whilst both enjoyed life they longed for a big adventure.
Raphaëlle spent her childhood holidays in the family house in Brittany, with the unique taste of sea salt butter caramel, bike rides along the cost, razor clam fishing, and of course the galettes and crepes.. the local crêperie, the weekly market 'take away' galette and endless 'secret recipe' crepe making nights on the home stove.
It dawned upon Raphaëlle and Curt that they wanted to share galettes and crepes with a wider London audience ... and the challenge was to launch a traditional creperie in London offering 'the real deal': crispy, light and flavourful products made fresh and live for people's entertainment and enjoyment.

Thank you for catering at Charles 40th Birthday, we were so pleased with your service it made the event really special. So many of our guests did not know about the creperie service I'm sure you will get some more calls now the word is out in Wokingham. We will definitely use the service again.
A belated thank you (we only got back from our honeymoon last week) from me and Sam for your fantastic crepes at our wedding. We chose you because we liked your website and when we contacted you, you were very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. On the day you were brilliant - the service was very cheerful and friendly and the crepes were delicious (from our own tasting and also comments from our guests). Many of our guests said what a great idea it was to have you at the wedding and that there was a lot of choice (we really liked that our guests could choose to mix the toppings and were not limited to choosing one). If we ever needed crepe catering again, we would definitely be coming back to you!

We booked Simmons Creperie for our New Office Warming Party in Soho. We wanted the food to be fun, with a choice for everyone, and this ticked all of the boxes. Simmons Creperie hosted our office Shrove Tuesday 2013 pancake afternoon and I would highly recommend their services! On arrival the team were incredibly fast, well organised and efficient-managing to set up on the busy first floor of our office in no time at all! Raphaelle and her team were a joy to deal with and created such a wonderful buzz around our building that people came from across all of our office floors and even our additional building next door to try out the crepes! The crepes were all superbly (and speedily) made and the menu offered a wide range of toppings, from homemade salted caramel and marshmallows to traditional lemon, butter and sugar – it was difficult to avoid going back for third (even fourth) helpings! The Simmons Creperie parties are a brilliant idea for anyone trying to host a fun, alternative and hassle free event. Raphaelle and her team took care of everything-even tidying up afterwards. I have had great feedback from all our staff…they want to know if we will have to wait until next Shrove Tuesday to have the Simmons Creperie team back! 5 STAR!!

Simmons Creperie made crepes and galettes for our company the day before Shrove Tuesday and everyone had a great time! The whole experience is easy and fuss free, as Simmons Creperie do all the setup and cleaning. The crepes and toppings were fresh and delicious, especially the homemade salted caramel. Would definitely recommend!
This was a great addition to our event! We weren’t sure how it would work with the students but they all loved it and it was something different! It was delicious and quick! The toppings you could get were really high quality. Most of all, the staff were amazing, they were really nice and very helpful. They didn’t get the chance to stop as there was always a long queue but the quality of the service and the crepe never wavered even after over 100 servings. It is amazing value for money! I can’t recommend this enough!
I was really impressed with Simmons Creperie from start to finish. I booked them to cater for a Christmas party and Raphaelle took care of everything and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for being part of our wedding day! As soon as we saw your website we knew we had found the perfect food for our evening reception and the service we received from then on was outstanding. It was just one less thing to worry about on the day. Our guests were thrilled to see a creperie set up at the venue, and I couldn't believe that even after a 3 course dinner they were lining up to have crepes.... the smell was that tempting!! Unfortunately I didn't have time to try one as I was so busy doing the rounds, but the feedback from every guest was the same: amazing, delicious, authentic! Even our French guests agreed! The staff were really friendly and efficient and the choice of ingredients was great. It felt like one of the best decisions we made, and my only regret is not sitting down for 5 minutes to sample one! :) My new husband has promised that we can use you for another event though so I'm looking forward to it! It’s always difficult, when planning an event, to find the right mix of caterers. I consider myself quite lucky that I found The Simmons Creperie to cater my event. They were a roaring success with my guests, and provided the perfect accompaniment to the other food options I had available on the day. With their savoury and sweet options, my guests would visit the stall for one of the savoury options, and then visit again for desert. We contacted the Simmons Creperie to organise an outdoor lunch in the office yard, and I am happy to day that our expectations were exceeded. The crepes were absolutely delicious, ideal for a Friday lunch out in the sun: this was a great treat for the team, and everyone had a really good time. Highly recommended!
Extremely professional and helpful. We were able to book them at the very last minute due to a cancellation and Raphaelle was most helpful and prompt at answering all of my questions. The crepes were delicious and served with speed and efficiency and delicious!! She even used choc buttons instead of nutella to avoid problems with nut allergies!! I can't wait to work with her again. Our school loved it!!!!

What a fantastic experience it was to have our own galette and crepe maker at home for a few hours! The food was delicious and Raphaelle who was cooking for us knew exactly how to adapt to each of our guests' taste. Our friends are still talking about it. She is a pleasure to work with and I will definitely organise another Breton party with her next year.
We used Simmons Creperie for our summer party at The SCIN Gallery and were so impressed by their professionalism, helpfulness, flexibility and hard-working attitude that kept them producing their delicious crepes long after they had been scheduled to stop. Everyone loved them!
MY BIG FAT BIRTHDAY. My first encounter with Raphaelle of The Simmons Crêperie confirmed that I was onto a winner! With queries quickly and efficiently answered, we got down to planning my â specialâ birthday party. Date booked, menu sorted, all we didnât think about was the British weather! On the party day, completely unfazed by Aprilâs wettest Sunday ever, Raphaelle unloaded all her gear in the middle of a flooded busy London street. Set up in our garden cabin, for three hours, the friendly Simmons team dodged downpours, delighting everyone with a wonderful non-stop supply of delicious crêpes, all served up with Gallic charm. Thank you Raphaelle, for everything. You are a star in every way! I canât wait to have another party. Next time in the sun I hope! Ronnie Bendall

Simmons Creperie prepared the food for a luncheon I and a friend hosted for 30 women. Everything was absolutely perfect (and I don't say that often). The crepes were amazingly delicious, the choice of ingredients an excellent variety and top-notch quality and the service impeccable. We chose Simmons because we had experienced their wonderful food before and it was as superb as we remembered. The selection of ingredients pleased every guest. It was easy for the vegetarians to eat without feeling like they were singled out for special dishes. Everyone enjoyed the process of picking out their favourite ingredients and watching the cooking almost as much as eating the terrific end product. I had both a savoury and a sweet crepe and I can't say which was more wonderful. I do especially recommend the homemade salted caramel sauce, totally out-of-this-world! From beginning to end, the service was something so above the usual that I wish I could work with Raphaelle on every project. She answered emails promptly, gave accurate quotes, was flexible and courteous. The day of the event she showed up promptly despite terrible weather. She and her lovely assistant had smiles on their faces the whole time despite some trying weather conditions. They had to cook outside (under a tent they brought) and they dealt with the wind and rain as if it was nothing. A totally 10+ out of 10 experience!
Having Simmonâs Creperie come to our office during a Customer Day, added a unique and fun twist to our event. Everything leading up to the event was organised, with Raphaelle being very helpful and even personally delivering some fresh sample crepes a few week before our big day. On the day her team was on time (in fact they were slightly early despite it being pancake day when they were very busy) and very efficient. The set up was quick and the pancakes were delicious. A great success and couldnât recommend using Simmons Creperie enough!! Thank you!
Raphaelle and her team catered for my husband's 30th birthday in Greenwich and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They set up and packed away fast and efficiently, there was nothing for us to do except be impressed by this very slick operation! The food and service were exceptional, with a great selection of ingredients. Our dog did get slightly coated in caramel from standing under people who were eating a crepe filled with chocolate, caramel, cream, strawberries, marshmallows! It transformed our little garden into a magical place and it really made the evening. Thank you again.
