I was newly pregnant when we heard about Julia Boggio Studios. Being pregnant and then soon after a mum to a new little baby boy, I had a preg-head. One thing that I loved was that and your studio helped get us organised for an amazing shoot. The shoot was great and having all the fancy dress there was fabulous. The shoot felt relaxed and that we could take as much time as we needed. We have never felt that at other studios, where we had felt like we were on a conveyor belt being rushed out of the door in 45 mins after a few scripted It felt like the shoot was âon the hipâ. It didnât feel regimented and that it was just for us. We had two shoots, the first with our son and dog. The shoot was fabulous and our dog was made to feel very welcome and thankfully performed brilliantly on the day. Our second shoot, newborn shoot, was exactly what we wanted, with some gorgeous little poses gently created and teased out of our new baby that were right for us. The shoot was lovely! Our viewing was fabulous but the hard thing was that all the portraits were so good we thought at the time âHow on earth do we cut them down!â The viewing was relaxed and we felt that we could take as much time as we needed. Itâs a big decision and a big financial commitment and we didnât feel pressured into buying everything. It was just how we wanted it to be. The frames offered at your studio are gorgeous and fitted in with our personal style. We chose to buy lots of separate frames so that our living room centrepiece can be flexible and evolve as we wanted. Your studio style is individual and it marks the studio out as being very different. Thatâs what people want and it will mean that our portraits from your studio will be unique last forever. It captured a real moment time and Iâm sure my sonâs children will have them on their walls in years to come.
Youâre all so lovely and nice to talk to. Itâs so important when youâre doing something like this for your family so having people who are understanding of the little ones is really important. We were able to come in at a time that really suited us and the shoot was really good fun. You made us feel relaxed enough so that halfway through we were able to stop so that I could breastfeed Molly. The viewing was really lovely because it didnât feel like going to a shop to buy anything, it was more like sitting down with a friend and looking through the pictures. We had a really nice experience and Iâm so sorry that Molly weeâd on Julia!
... You made the whole booking process really easy for us and gave us a selection of dates and helped us book a session that worked for us. Our studio shoot was great fun. It was a lovely, relaxing, enjoyable Saturday afternoon thing to do with the family. The viewing was amazing! Perhaps too good ;-) We chose some wonderful portraits and it was such nice informal experience.
We had a really enjoyable time, it wasnât a hard shoot at all and the kids really had a lot of fun. We... ... had to change our booking several times but you made it pretty easy each time to get a time that worked for us. We were stuck in traffic on the way to the studio and when we arrived we were a bit nervous but the kids straight away fell in love with the studio, the costumes and the whole experience. The viewing was unexpectedly great! When we chose the portraits, it was much easier than we had experienced at another studio that we had visited. It was fun and not a really hard sell at all. It was one of your strongest points. My husband wasnât looking forward to it but he enjoyed it and we fell in love with the canvas and the acrylics. You should open more studios!
MEMORIES FOR A LIFETIME Your wedding photographer needs to understand both your personalities and what will work for you both on the day. Julia did exactly that! She made us feel comfortable and we had all the photographs that we wanted. A year on, I still look back at them at least once a month and show friends who couldnât be with us on the day. One comment we keep hearing is: âYour photographs are the best shots we have ever seen.â Using Julia Boggio was a fantastic choice and we have memories now that will last us a lifetime.
WE FORGAOT ABOUT THE CAMERA Julia Boggio is of extraordinary talent. We brought her from the UK to Sweden to photograph our wedding - her images are artistic, full of emotion and feel so natural. She really makes you forget that the camera is there, which has an amazing effect.
QUICK TO UNDERSTAND US Julia did a fantastic job on the day itself and her advice and help beforehand was also invaluable. Julia was quick to understand what we wanted from our wedding photos and we are absolutely delighted with the results. We've had so many compliments on our pictures.
YOU CAPTURED THE MOOD Your pictures have everything: reportage, a few formal family shots (got to keep the oldies happy!) and, most importantly, glamour! I wanted a photographer who would capture the 'story' of our day. We had family abroad that unfortunately couldn't make the wedding, but were delighted to be able to view the photos on-line and see all the little details, along with the emotions and atmosphere of the day. The album is both modern and timeless; the story of the beginning of 'us' and an heirloom to treasure forever. Thank you, Julia!

WE LOVE OUR IMAGES When first meeting Julia, I knew she was the perfect photographer for our big day. JBP was the ‘centre-piece’ of a very special celebration and significant milestone of my life. To celebrate this milestone I wanted to make sure I had a commemorative day with all my special girlfriends doing what all girls love to do: glam up, look gorgeous, drink champagne, be chauffeured to all your favourite spots in London and (most importantly) be photographed. Julia took stunning photographs in unusual and special settings – she captured the mood of the day perfectly – not easy when you have 7 giggling girties all wanting to ‘hog the limelight’! But Julia’s service and talent didn’t stop there ..... she took it one step further and compiled a beautiful photo album with the photographs intertwined with other significant memorabilia of the milestone, so I now have living memories of that special day that I can keep for life and keep referring back to....... I used Julia Boggio photography to do some new headshots. I found the session to be fun and relaxed and she clearly cares not only about her clients but also the standard of her work. She was creative in her thinking about the session and was also open to suggestion. My business partner and I recently used Julia for a portrait photoshoot (not the image accompanying this review I hasten to add!) We’ve both had studio shots before for business purposes; but I can’t tell you how happy we both are with what she achieved. Julia really made us feel relaxed and somehow managed to make two ageing 40-somethings look a) fairly professional and b) quite fetching – just the way we imagine we always look! Absolutely brilliant - we had pictures taken of our 3 girls and she captures them in their natural behaviour rather than posed....her creative approach will never disappoint. We enjoy the pictures every day!
