James Russell Studio photographers have been a feature on the Wimbledon scene since 1886. Prinicipal photographer James Norcott is a highly qualified and experienced wedding, portrait and commercial photographer with a string of awards to his name.
James has won seven Kodak UK Bride and Portrait awards, ten London Portrait group awards and has been runner up in the UK Kodak Wedding awards. In 1997, James was named Kodak Portrait Photographer of the year.

James Norcott is James Russell Studio's expert portrait photographer. Used by The Best of Wimbledon and Merton for official client portraits, James is highly skilled at making his subjects feel at ease to create a relaxing atmosphere. This in turn enables James to capture the easy and natural expressions, which distinguish his photography from the ordinary.
A family portrait session at James Russell Studio can involve not only shots of Mum, Dad, children and grandparents, but even the family pet!
Photograph restoration
Using the latest digital technology James Russell Studios can professionally restore faded, old or damaged photographs to their former glory. Damage such as creases, tears, stains (and even unwanted people!) can be removed or altered.
All original photographs never leave our studios as all work is done in house.
