Bringing back the old
barbers traditions

Traditional shaving using a double edge or straight razor, foam and water has been around for over 100 years.  In the good old days it would have been most unusual for a man to shave himself.  Most men would attend a local ‘penny barbers’ once or twice a week, when a gentleman would be shaved by his servant.

At Dry 503 we’re bringing back this age old tradition in the relaxed environment of our barbers shop.  Today gentlemen come to our barbers for the sheer luxury of being shaved by an expert.  To have your face swathed in hot towels, lathered and shaved, then moisturised and massaged is a truly pleasurable experience.

Shaving technique is not instinctive.  All men need to learn the art and unfortunately many learn it badly.  Common problems such as razor burns, bloodspots, ingrown hairs and redness are more often than not caused by bad shaving technique.  So in response to requests from many of our customers, Dry 503 provides training on the best shave technique according to your skin-type.
