Designs Unlimited is more than an architectural services firm! We can manage your entire project, all the way from concept to finish. We can do this as, besides being architectural designers, we also specialize in space planning, colour and lighting, interior design, structural architectural design, feasibility and project management.

Loft conversions
Extend up and make more space! Some loft conversions do not need planning permission at all however, all the same, the design of your loft conversion/extension must meet building regulations including ventilation, fire escapes, sound insulation, and Party Wall legislation will need to be addressed for terraced properties.
Garage conversions

Planning permission
Designs Unlimited can assist you through the whole planning permission process, from detailed planning, submitting and getting the plans approved by your Local Council, project management and right through to the interior design.
As house extensions involve getting Planning Permission and Building Regulations approval from your local council, we have a large portfolio of approved projects and are very familiar with the National and Local regulations for extensions.
With our free architectural consultation we supply you with all information you need as we regularly deal with the local Councils' planning departments.

Deborah Shaw BSc, ACIAT, ICIOB
Deborah Shaw has over 12 years experience in the construction industry. She has both the experience and knowledge to help her clients create their dream spaces whilst also providing architectural consultancy services.
Deborah achieved a first class (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology incorporating knowledge on British Building Regulations, Architectural Technology and Design, Material Science, CAD, heating and cooling systems, project speculation, project management and construction. She then trained in interior design with a natural insight into colour, lighting, furniture and textiles.
Deborah continues to develop her range of skills by regularly attending training and seminars in the design and construction industry.
Deborah is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and an Incorporate Member of The Chartered Institute of Building.
