I really enjoyed your informal and relaxed cooking workshop. The food was lovely, though I had to finish most of it as my husband and kids were not very keen on the fish dish and the ‘Iles flottantes au caramel’. Having said that, the next day, I made fresh mayonnaise with my daughter and she pronounced it delicious!! And the ‘bœuf bourguignon...’ – using herbs from my garden, soaked the beef overnight with Shiraz, the end result is fab, a real treat for the whole family on the weekend.

The cooking class was great fun and nice to meet new people too. I’ll be looking forward to exciting new recipes in your future workshops... do keep me informed.

Thanks for a lovely evening, it was very different to anything I have experienced for an evening out, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The evening was well organised, professional, the variety was immense and when I thought it was all over there came my favourite: the ‘madelines’. The icing on the cake was the gift bag that was not expected at all. The evening was good value for money. I had the food to myself for breakfast, lunch and dinner the next day – sorry, it was too good to share!

No one can compete with Maud's hospitality, which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. The ingredients used were of top quality and I had to drink some of the wine meant for cooking as I felt it was a waste. The entire menu looked like it came from a restaurant and it was all in French... I would definitely attend another cooking class – it was great evening out and I don’t have to travel far to get to.
