The best part about the refurbishment of my home has been the garden!!The addition of a basement reduced the space that we had outside and we wanted a very modern space that would look good all year round as the new kitchen/dining room has patio doors so it is on view the whole time. This means that the garden needs to work not just in the summer months for lounging and entertaining but also during the winter. The mostly evergreen plants that Christine chose will achieve this with seasonal bulbs popping up at different times of the year and lighting coming into its own in the winter providing an uplifting view from the kitchen as the days get shorter. I am thrilled and all my friends and clients are very envious!
