Bumblebees pre-school provides early education for 3-5 year-olds in a purpose-built unit in front ofSt Paul’s primary school in Wigan.
Three-year-olds get 15 hours of free education each week for the term following their 3rd birthday.
This may be extended to suit parental needs.
Our unit in Wigan has only 30 places, which is usually over-subscribed so please ask for a ‘place request form’ as soon as possible.
Breakfast Club
From 7am Monday - Friday during term
Breakfast and activities before the start of the school day
After-school Club
After school until 6pm Monday - Friday during term
Snacks and activities - craft, role-play, Nintendo, Wii, group games, outside games, themed nights
Both clubs are run withinSt Paul’s primary school in Wigan in a safe and secure environment
Holiday Club
Fun and exciting activities and trips out to local attractions during the school holidays (not Christmas)

Quality care delivered by quality staff
Both our proprietors hold a BA (Hons) degree in early years leadership and management with professional development.
Assistant manager, Joanne Sharples, also BA (Hons) in early years leadership and management.
All our staff have experience and are qualified at level 3 or above.

My son thinks Bumblebees is the best! He has come on in leaps and bounds since starting there. They have well prepared him for 'big' school!
They have cared for and nurtured our two sons through their pre-school stages over a period of 4 years. They provide excellent care and develop their learning potential prior to them moving on into Reception class, attending to their needs as an individual. I can't praise and thank the staff enough, my children have been happy and content during their time at Bumblebees, the staff are amazing and I would highly recommend Bumblebees to any parent as a safe and happy environment for your children to learn and play. A huge thank you from the Wilkinson family :-)
They are lots of fun here at Bumblebees childcare and they are very friendly and extremely helpful to me.
They create a safe, warm and trusting environment for my children to play and learn. They make an already difficult decision to be a working mum a possibility. Fidning great childcare is key!
They make me feel safe and happy. My teachers are very kind and have helped me not to be so shy. I get to do lots of fun and interesting things and I'm free to choose what I would like to do. I have made lots of new friends and love playing with them at Bumblebees. (My mummy wrote this for me!)
Bumblebees nusery and daycare have really helped my daughter to come out of her shell and, they make her day very enjoyable.. everyday!
