  • We're now into three figures with less than a 1,000 days to go until London 2012!
  • Work is progressing well on the Weymouth Relief Road and it remains on schedule to be open for traffic in autumn 2010.
  • Weymouth College and Dorset County Council have secured an ‘Adizone' from Games sponsor, Adidas. This funky multi use Games area, in the shape of the 2012 logo, will be installed at Redlands Community Sports hub.
  • Team Dorset podcasts are now available to listen to at the Team Dorset website:  www.teamdorset.org.uk. These are interviews by Lisa Worthington (Tandem Marketing) and Ross Cleaver with people from the Dorset community talking about the 2012 Games, the opportunities and their vision of the Olympic legacy. Two have been posted with another 10 on the way.  New podcasts will be uploaded every two weeks.
  • Lastly, just a reminder that if you registered with Team Dorset prior to the launch of their new website, you do need to register again online at www.teamdorset.org.uk and if you want your details to be shown in the directory make sure you click the Opt In button (because I missed it!)
