Learn in your own kitchen using whatever utensils and equipment you have.
Hyndberry cookery lessons give a foundation in basic cooking skills. We can tailor lessons for more advanced techniques or to cover particular areas of interest. A few questions when you book will determine the format. Among other things, you'll learn how to make the most of our wonderful local produce when it is in season and at its best. You'll never want to eat fast food again!
Cookery lessons are delivered by Catriona Staddon, drawing on her many years of experience before and during her time as chef-proprietor of Marynka Restaurant in Linlithgow.
Catriona teaches small groups of either two or three people. The all-inclusive cost is £75 per person in a group of two people, and £65 per person in a group of three. This covers all ingredients for the basic skills course. The lessons are 3 - 3 ½ hours long with daytime and evening sessions available.

For the person who has everything and wants to cook too - a gift voucher for cookery lessons is the perfect present! Available in any amount, gift vouchers can be used for all or part of the cost of a cookery lesson.

Simply fantastic food and friendly service. Linlithgow's harvest feast was a fine example. 200 people fed all with local produce. Catriona is keen to get involved in local food projects.
