So, for starters, how about:
Panshanger Park Volunteer Group has just celebrated its 1st anniversary. It started with just 4 volunteers in July 2014 and now there are regularly over 25 local Welwyn Hatfield residents who turn up once a month on a Sunday morning to carry out practical task around the 1000 acre park and nature reserve led by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. Tasks vary by season but jobs include pond clearing, hedge planting and tree felling. Last month the volunteers helped clear a path around the Panshangar Great Oak to get ready for the opening of the Oak Trail.
