Watford's Spring Clean
21st February 2018

Watford Borough Council and its partner Veolia are once again backing a national campaign to get half a million people across the UK out and about cleaning up their local areas.

The Great British Spring Clean, which runs from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 March led by Keep Britain Tidy is an initiative with a simple aim: to bring people across the country together to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and parks.

We will be supporting groups taking part in Watford's Spring Clean by loaning litter-picking kits and bags on a first-come, first-served basis free of charge and will be collecting all waste and recycling produced from the events.

Special community litter pick kits are available to borrow free of charge if you would like to help keep your local environment clean and tidy.

Each kit contains:

  • 10 x litter pickers
  • 10 x protective gloves
  • 10 x high visibility vests
  • Rubbish sacks

Get involved and organise your own clean-up by emailing enquiries.watford@veolia.co.uk

Kits are also available throughout the year.
