How many times have you walked down the high street and noticed a beautiful building that you’ve never seen, stopped and noticed before?  Do you have a fondness of a local building that you think should be shared with, and appreciated by others?

Well, Watford Women's Centre is encouraging you to STOP, TAKE A SNAP and SHARE with them a photo of your favourite building.

The competition is open to anyone who appreciates or spots a beautiful building and posts the photo on Watford Women's Centre's Facebook page, CLICK HERE or their Google+ page CLICK HERE.

Please add #‎wwcplusphoto to the post, so that Watford Women's Centre can collate the enteries.

You do not even need to have a professional camera, a smart phone or tablet can capture the pic and can be just as good.

The building can be any type of building, old or new but it must be in Watford, Rickmansworth or Bushey.

The photographers of the top 18 photos will be invited to display a printed framed version* in an exhibition at Watford Women Centre’s Shop on Market Street, which will take place between the 6 September and 4 October 2014.

And you never know someone might ‘snap up’ your photo of the best building, as although this is really just a bit of fun to capture local beautiful buildings, it is also helping raise the profile of a small local registered charity.

There isn’t a prize BUT there is the opportunity to sell the framed photo in the shop (with 25% commission to the registered charity on any that are sold).

The closing date for all entries is at midnight on the 18 August 2014.

Happy snapping those beautiful Watford buildings!

* The entries to be displayed in the charity shop will need to supplied printed in a frame.
